View Full Version : 540 hook and pop 720
When I look at people do these kicks I don't really see a difference. They both do the exact same rotation and then throw an outward kick at the end. Is it the takeoff that's different? Grr what distinguishes these moves? And when I say rotation I mean they both look at the target twice before kicking. Which brings me to how does a 720 spin more when they are both doing the same rotations?
Yes its the take off which is difference. And the rotation isn't the same. Its 180 more.
On a cheat720, after you step in, lifting your leg when you throw it up, this cheats half a rotation of the 720.
Holy shit I'm tired and can barely type. lol, I hope this makes sence to you.

540hk takes off from a step-over type set up and in the air spins 540 degrees when executed correctly.
a 720 takes off of both feet and spins 720 degrees during which you throw a hook/outside crescent. you take off and then land in the same position 2 rotations later.
edit: beat me to it shido! gah!

well the only difference i can think of is the take-off between the 2 moves
a 540 hook (or cheat 720) uses a take-off from one leg, while the pop 720 uses a 2-legged take-off
EDIT:
Damnit! everyone beat me to it!!!
