Although my ankles don't have any problems at the moment, I'm deciding whether or not to get ankle braces. I've getting a bit paranoid about injuring my ankles lately because of all these trickers complaining of ankle injuries and in a lot of cases chronic ankle injuries. I aint too bothered with a sprain or two here and there, I just hate the idea of getting a chronic ankle injury.
Would wearing ankle supports be bad in the long run because if I don't wear them wouldn't tricking strengthen them, because they'd be worked harder than if I wore support? I don't want to wear ankle supports and rely on them (especially when moving on to more advanced moves) because they haven't been building up over the years. Plus ankle supports won't really prevent the really bad injuries like jon p's double leg twist or when snake broke his ankle, just a prevent few sprains, which if I treat properly and not rush back into tricking won't really turn into a chronic injury, right?
