Question to wonder about, I am thinking about attempting these, and wondering where everyone learned their sideswipe and how they did it, what were the prequisites of the move.
I am thinking Raiz most importantly.
But I am not sure..
Also, on a sideswipe, with the intial step, the upper body should dip low and just turn over, with your head looking backward at the ground, following your shoulders around?

The prerequisite of this move is the 540
sideswipe is really just a really layed back 540....pretty easy....however i learnt them before 540's:eh:
I sort of used a b-twist technique....doing a standing b-twist set up into a 540.....if you get what i mean.

That makes no sense munks. A btwist setup into a 540 would be a hypertwist. Are you talking about dipping?
Apparently some people can sideswipe without learning an inverted raiz, but I think you're better off learning the raiz first. Your body alignment will feel weird enough without trying to throw a kick.

two types of sideswipe:
keeping the torso low throughout the takeoff
-or-
keeping the torso upright throughout the takeoff, then just as you lift off arching back looking straight behind you arching as you kick.
ive tried both, both work well. The 2nd method is better for when you come to try inverted jacknifes, snapuswipes etc.

I can give you my video, and also give you a walkthrough
Here is the video

My tips for this are to same setup as a 540, but keep your body parralel to the ground like a btwist so you spin like a btwist. as your body spins during the setup try to keep your take off foot on the ground as long as possible, take off when your facing the sky, ceiling then throw the kick around, land and then boom all done

That video link is either wrong or you don't know what your talking about. That isn't a sideswipe.
