hypertwist help

i don't seem to be getting enough height on it, even having done it for almost a year already, and my landing doesn't look right. Any tips? thx

I'm not very good with hypertwists, but.....

The things I noticed were.

-You don't stay tight with your arms at all. They are spread out like an eagle the whole time. haha. Cool though. Just....would make it harder on you. Keep em tight so you spin faster.

-You open up too early. Your still spinning enough to land it, but just!

I think if you stay tighter with your arms and spin a bit more before trying to plant for that landing, it will all fix up and you will have a DAM nice hypertwist. Your setup is really nice for it. I'm jealous. :tongue:

your twisting almost immediatley out of your dip, dip down hard and deep and then really jump up and into your beginning b-kick motion and then stall ( this should give you some hang time) and then twist because if you let your center of gravity go and climax then this gives you way more air to do your twist. Thus having more hang time to land on the other leg.

A bit more delay to the twist. And try to kick the hyper leg with Huuuuge power.
and oh yes, you really should put your hands much tighter, that'll help a lot. At least it helped for me.

work them from standing ...then try it from typicall setup it worked out for me

also if you want to make the HYPER part of the move more obvious, once you have your hangtime and you twisting, and your just about to land on your right leg, tuck your other leg in as you would do on a 540, this makes the move look at lot more sexual and you can easily see the difference between a hypertwist and a b-twist that way
