You aren't even waiting till you are in the air, you are just twisting...not even stalling your jump at all.. Arms UP, then twist.

it REALLY REALLY hard, also, practicing it a billion times to land it doesn't seem to work. I tried it for like 3 weeks straight and had to adjust my technique to be able to just land it, everyone but matt mez just lands it, thats how they go.

Yea I have problems with it too. I can land it if I do it the Terada way where it isn't completely inverted. If I do it the correct way, it really helps delaying the twist so you can get the necessary height. I'm getting pretty close to landing it the proper way.

you're not stalling.

your trying to twist horizontally.

you're going way off axis.

go UP , look forward then whip one arm in and reach across with the other.

honestly i didn't train this trick at all.... umm... just chucked it one day and it happened. BUT! When you throw your arms try throwing them not straight up but to over the shoulder to you twist toward. Also..... tuck. It's a standing full. Couldn't view your .gif so... sorry. Drill a few times a day then move on. Sometimes you'll find giving it a rest is best. ESPECIALLY for twisting tricks.

A big thing, as with any trick, never give up. Before, during, or after the trick. Getting half way through a trick and just bailing is a BIG problem i see with tricks. Finish it out. If you're going to fall....... then you're going to fall. Deal with it. What we do isn't easy, that's why it's a skill.
