Hi,

In a 540 do you tuck the non kicking leg in, or do you leave it straight? When i watch some clips it looks like they tuck it, while Juji's looks like he keeps it straight. Also is the kick a roundhouse which you chamber then snap out, or is it just an crescent which you dont chamber?

Thanks

It can be a roundhouse of a crescent, whatever you prefer.

if you tuck the non kicking leg, then it makes doing jacknifes harder to do, because when its straight, you can whip it around for the hook kick.

however tucking it for regular 540s is fine.

try it with both style kicks.

tbh you can still jacknife when you're non kicking leg is bent, its just a bit harder.

when i was trying jacknifes the other day, i was rotating so much on the first kick the 2nd was coming out facing 180 degrees away from the first kick.

damn :(
