I can do standard fulltwists pretty easily, but I've been struggling a bit with cleaning up my cartwheel to fulltwist, which seems to be more of a sideflip twist concept than a back full. At the moment mine are preeeetty much horizontal, but I want them vertical (I posted it with the rest of the combo because I like the combo, not because I was too lazy to cut it).

ps. I definitely do not mean cartwheel to btwist, I have no interest in that combo at this time.

i recently started doing carthwheel moves, theyre alot of fun

my tip is to try and land as upright as you can, and have the arms up super high. If you dip that left elbow behind you, you'll get a load of spin but not alot of height, try and throw both arms (especially the right arm) up as high as you can, then tuck them in.

trying to land with your feet quite close together helps too.

nah dude you don't want em vertical! lol.

Get em so they're like an aerial twist instead, they look cooler. here's a vid of a good one.

ok i know you have no interest in this but in that clip that Ash did he told me to learn btwist from two feet first. Then once you can cartwheel into a fast btwist from 2 feet then you gradually force your legs up more into the move until it turns into an aerial twist. Then if you wanna get vertical fully then just keep working on the gradual invert by driving ya legs up.

Thanks guys, I'll first start with the arms up thingy that TKD_Andy said, sounds like the best bet.

andy's got it right... as for siktricker, that's debatable and entirely up to ur taste, although aerial twists are best vertical, or else they look more like swipe variations... i like my cartwheel fronts more vertical, cuz it looks more like a twist flip, and i take off both feet at once from the cartwheel, so it doesn't look like an aerial twist... however, if you have one that's horizontal, it makes it easier to make it look more like a doubleleg out of it. the thing is, the cartwheel full is more like an arabian twist rather than a backwards full... and the more you go UP towards the front, the more vertical you'll be... the more horizontal you are, the faster you get your feet back to the ground... horizontal is definitely easier by far...

I picked up on the arabian haltwist concept by watching Anis perform this move, but it was still pretty hard to get it clean. I suppose further work on my cartwheel to front flip might have a positive effect on my cartwheel to fulltwist. Thanks for the advice, guys.
