i tried posting this in the martial arts section but it didn't seem to go through, so i guess i'll try here.
i was wondering if good hook kicks are mainly technique or flexibility or both.
pretty much when i see people do hooks, their foots travals in a downward slant that looks easy to do and control. WHen i do hooks it looks more of like a spinning back kick and my foot travels horizontally rather than diagonally.
i made a vid so you can see what i'm talking about. the first kick is a crescent and the second one is a crescent but i tried to get that slanted look in it. the last one is my attempt at a hook
