tricksters or gymnastics aerial?

I prefer gymnastic aerial because "tricker" aerials look crappy and weak. It's just so hard to have a nice pretty looking "tricker" aerial.

Why even call them tricker aerials? That's just making it sound like "tricker" moves are all crappy.

Aerials are cartwheels with no hands, and a "tricker" aerial doesnt look like you could even do it correctly with hands.

I never really think of them as "gymnastic aerials" though, I just think of the as "aerials the right way".

Just about, however you can still combo a gymnastic aerial easy, as long as you r leg comes straight up above your head and then down and you turn over a bit to the other side bam it looks nice.

Even if it's in a combo, it doesnt have to look b-kickish. It can still look like a very clean proper aerial. Lateef Crowder, anyone?

In shaolin we do the tricker way because in the gymnastics one its more of a stretch so you don’t really need to jump and can hurt your muscles if not stretched but with the tricker way you push the floor with your feet you can get height bend your legs its faster and can link to different movements more easily

That's exactly what happened to me. It's really annoying really. It hurts so bad, u aren't able to aerial, or au batido or anything with a split.
Still prefer the gymnastic thoug, looks so much cleaner:smile:

It's true, but i saw a samp on here recently and the guy is using the tricker aerial for mad stuff i think he does axe to tricker aerial and t aerial to backtuck, but it looks weird

Gymnast aerial is easy from standing. Easier than the stupid trickster aerial in which you end up straining yourself.

Comboing it isnt hard either, you just have to remember to turn over I guess.
