View Full Version : Ok quite a random thing about tucking..
Well ok when I do like a front flip on the trampoline or whatever, for some reason my knees always seem kind of.. wobbly - like I cn really easily just knee myself in the lip, which I've actually done several times :eh: lol
So now I have this really bad habit of tilting my head to one side so I don't knee myself in the face, which I can't actually stop doing! What the hell is wrong with my tucking?!
EDIT: I can probably get a video of it if you want..!

dont do it on trampolines...they give you bad habits. you're gonna have to just practice and drill a lot and a lot to get out of that habit...habits are very hard to break...thats why i dont use tramps...

^^^ I hate the way that looks! It does supposedly make you spin faster, and of course will eliminate this problem.. but my god it looks gay.

hahaha, well once you pull of a triple back tuck...i dont no if you're gay. damn i saw a clip of one gymnast pulling off a triple backtuck for some olympic event or something...mother f!!! just wow. haha.
Yeah I don't like the way it looks either, but I think it should elimininate the problem - firstly there'll be no possibility I can knee myself, and secondly I wouldn't be able to put my head to the side anyway! Thanks a lot guys.. I'll try that..

oh yea!!!
that gif is sexual, although he is taking a mid shit backflip :P
Ok I've discovered my actual problem - I'm doing a parkour roll in mid air :S
Even when I really focus I do it anyway! I've tried doing a normal roll, them build up, but when I actually get to the stage where I'm doing the actual flip, I convert back into parkour rolling!
Ahhhh! Please help!

Trampoline doesn't necessarily build bad habits if you excercise good technique. Trampolining is a safe way to test your tricking theories without hurting yourself. I train looooooooads of my tricks on trampoline, and believe me it works.
