what do you mean by rest?
do you want to know how long it takes to recover from training or overtraining or perhaps an injury.

general training (eg. weight training) takes me about a day to get back on schedule.
im in the process of recovering of some mild overtraining and im on my second day and my joints and muscles still hurt (legs)
and in terms of an injury, well i couldnt wait to get back to training my legs after i recovered from a blow to the knee which took me a few lazy days to get over.

i didnt start to train my legs again untill i could be mobile without the pain. every now and then i would crouch down and see if i could do a squat without pain. if i couldnt i waited longer. when it went away i went a little too hard on my legs and hence the mild overtraining.

my advice. if theres nothing stoping you from tricking, like pain or risk of making an injury worse, then go for it man.

it depends on the activity (lifting/recovery or tricking?) and how sore you are.

Every day, test yourself with some light activity. If it still hurts, rest some more. If you feel good, keep going.

Just pay attention to how you're feeling; it's really not that hard.

It usually takes my muscles about 12-15 hours to recover (in terms of performance) and my brain takes about 6-7 hours.
