please read the FAQ's

but i'm not asking a question....what do you want me to read in the faqs?
i just remember people posting routines and others giving feedback. if this should be moved somewhere else then maybe someone could do that.

He wants you to check the FAQ because your routine consists mainly of isolation exercises. The rest is timed poorly.

Haha HIIT until you can't anymore, what is the point of this? If you can't HIIT anymore, that means you're dead.

Here's a better minimalist routine.

-Dumbell Squats ATG 3x15
-Glute-Ham Raises 2x10
-Standing Single-leg Calf Raises 3x25
-Weighted Dips performed with two chairs (stuff a backpack up with textbooks to weight it)
-2x10 Chinups
-2x10 DB Shoulder Press
-2x10 Weighted Crunches-put the two 25lb DB's across your chest.
-2x10 Hammer curls since you want to work your biceps so badly.

Do your plyo and low intensity cardio on rest days. So that's 3 days a week weight training, 3 days a week plyo and low cardio, and Sunday off to recover. If you need more time to recover, adjust accordingly.

Voila!

sad thing is i don't know what most of that is....time to visit my best bud, google =D.

and i don't really wanna work my biceps bad. i'm a weight lifting n00b, i'm sure i'll learn whats a lot and whats not as soon as i get into this more.

Less exercise equals better in my opinion. Variation rocks but at one time less exercises better. So i suggest

Deadlift
Pullup
Military press
Single leg squat
3 sets of 3 reps

1 minute L sit as few sets as possible then add weight

3 days a week 2 days of HIIT.

He's going to deadlift 25lb DB's?

Single leg deadlift flaming twenty-five pound dumbbells on top of swiss ball balanced by an elephant on the tip of its trunk as it stands on its hind legs on a small iceberg in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico while wearing a sombrero beer helmet. :good: It's functional strength training.

that'd be one hell of a fall.

Thats absurd, an iceberg would melt in the gulf of mexico.

The functionality of such strength is enough to make Crossfit cream their pants. Sigged..haha

haha, yes completely unrealistic.

Steve
Jul-17-06, 07:27 PM
The point is you have to compensate for the melting.

chicanerous
Jul-17-06, 10:04 PM
Yes.

And ultimately the exercise is futile. The iceberg will completely melt and you will get wet.

Couch, sofabed, double bed, car then toilet seat. It would include periodisation because people may get on or off the objects, low reps will be encouraged because people may start hiting you. The car may atempt to drive away so your grip would get a realy good workout.

In seriousness find some heavier stuff.
