What do all the body builders of the forum do for calorie intake? I really need to eat more but I dunno what foods or types of foods are really good sources of carbs. I mean besides bread and pasta and the more common ones.

Actually Peanut M&Ms are good for you!! LoL There was one Body Builder Competitor that my old teacher in college (that used to train some Olympians even) that pretty ONLY ate Peanut M&Ms and he'd still be fine- I don't know his record, though.
For carbs, though, I eat bread and rice. Also, fruits are Good.

How about some Protein...fish, eggs, any type of meat.
You might as well get some ghey protein like everyone else.
Oats, brown rice, most root vegetables (e.g. potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, turnips, swedes, etc.), wholemeal pasta, brown bread, and legumes (e.g. lentils and beans) to some extent.

....I was referring to things that aren't like shoveling a mound of dirt into your system....

Protein is already taken care of, it's calories I need more of.

Awesome, thanks man, that's perfect. ^_^ *Runs off to eat*

hahaha i'm pretty sure Erik and alex were kidding.
Protein is already taken care of, it's calories I need more of.
there are 3 macronutrients that make up the calories: proteins, carbs, and fats. (ie. protein = 4 calories per gram)
you shouldn't just count calories, cause that doesn't tell you a thing. you should know what percentage of your calories are coming from your proteins, carbs, and fats, and adjust the numbers accordingly.
with a basic answer to your broad question though, oats, peanut butter, bread, and pasta can all help you out.

Yea dude oatmeal for sure.
To tag on extra calories along with the oats after done cooking squeeze some honey and butter in there. You can also like put a scoop of whey and then some honey. Scoop of whey and cinnamon powder. Just butter and salt. Egg whites and Honey.
Yea you get the idea, oatmeal is like the god of all carb foods. So many possiblilties, so little in the container.

I also recomend oats, and if you like vegetables then thats great - you can roast large pieces of meat with a shitload of veg. Im not into wheat really, but oats work well
Doughnuts, cookies, danishes, etc.

Read Dr. John Berardi's articles on eating, and if your looking to up your calorie intake, I'd suggest reading his Massive eating articles.
