I didn't read the article, but I have enough experience through friends that the Frees are "sick" . Wearing Frees is like being barefoot. Nike did a lot of research that concluded that being barefoot was a lot better for you than wearing shoes, as long as the place you are running or tricking or whatever is free of debris such as glass or rocks. So if you love the barefoot feel, but can only trick on concrete somehow, you should definitely by the Frees.
they are light. i own a pair. however they will kill your knees if u wear them too often or for too long. they have zero support in them so they mess with your ankles quite a bit. they are light, but that's about it. you are safer going barefoot. unless ur interested in killing your knees. i have since stopped wearing them because they... sucked.
i designed mine and they look pretty cool.
i kno you guys are "badass" barefoot tricksters, i was just lettin you kno about the shoes.
as trickers we all dont like to feel heavy or weighted down, so a comfy lightweight shoe that felt as if you were barefoot should be a good idea. you can trick at a moments notice without haveing to take off your shoes

I have a pair of these shoes, every time I do agility ladders in them the sole goes straight into the front of the shoe. I love them for walking around and stuff , though.

I took a look at some today, and laughed at the sales lady when she told me they were 90 bucks. So instead I bought an RPG book, a deck for a new card game, and some incense holders.

Heh, I go through shoes at an incredible race, and I figure I can wear my torn up Asics a bit less, and my boots a bit more until I get around to finding a nice pair of shoes.
I was looking at my usual spot earlier that day, but didn't see anything I liked.

I read that pumas were a good shoe to trick in because they are light/flexible. Well I went and bought a pair of puma romas recently and sprained my ankle the next day LOL. Anyone else have a problem with pumas because they're low cut and don't provide much ankle support?
Kung Fu shoes are crap, you might as well just be wearing sandals. Taekwondo shoes will probably end your life.
