You look awesome...
Does the competition have age groups or what?

No he didn't. Antoine wasn't even very muss around the time I joined T/T, and then he exploded.

The first picture I saw of Antoine had his ex-girlfriend in it or something. In that picture, I wouldn't doubt if he was more muss than the majority of the TT population (which probabbly isnt saying much).
That means he would have been 14-16, when he was approximately my size haha (Actually slightly smaller)

Actually that second picture could have just been after a pump in good lighting but everyone seemed amazed by it, haha

That's pretty much what I was thinking. The first pic was too dark to really see anything. In the second pic his bodyfat seems to be slightly lower, he's pumped, flexing, and the lighting is far better. He definitely gained some muscle, just not as much as some people seem to think, since he already had a lot of that muscle in the first pic, he just wasn't showing it as much.
Thats some crazy pump, his delts/biceps look alot bigger and more defined
It's not really very hard to gain that much muscle in a month if you know what you're doing. (Although to think that Antoine could have acquired that kind of knowledge when he was 15 in that time is impressive) I was born with terrible (but stocky) genes for body growth and I was born two months early but I could achieve similar results just by doing infinite volume.

This is great news Antoine! Any info on the nationals? When and where it will be? I presume you'll be getting larger and more defined than ever for this, excellent.

have you ever thought about posing for playgirl? you are 18 now ya know
Why the effe would he do that haha, he's muss as fuck and it's not like girls are beating down his door anyway.

Magazines like Playgirl are usually more interested in beach muscles. You know, a decent chest, abs, no back and legs. Like Brad Pitt for example. There's no doubt Antoine's physque absolutely shits on Pitt's, and then takes another hot curry shit on it again. But try and explain that to girls that think being skinny with abs is the epitome of sex appeal and attraction.

yeah, and he still looks better than everyone TT :P
This was the first pic I ever saw of Antoine, I believe he was 16 at this point:

Even then he looked a lot older and had quite an impressive mass.
Off topic: RinBin, are you the same RinBin who released the "Super Ultra Mega Moves" sampler with Javelin? That was nearly 3 years ago, where have you been?

i would like to gain 20lbs of muscle, come to think of it.
how long do you guys think it would take?, with creatine and adequite protein and so on...
Thats the same picture as the first one i saw of him lol, this is back alittle bit before i first started tricking like 2 years back.

Depending on genetics, less than year if you could actually train hard and consistently, never miss a meal, and get eight to ten hours sleep each day.

spiral do you, subjectively, have trouble with fat gain? If so, it will probably be a lot lot slower progress with more set-backs than if you, again subjectively, "don't get fat" - in which case it seems the more you eat, the faster you grow. Do you have current pictures?
Also creatine is basically useless for muscle gain.

Also creatine is basically useless for muscle gain.
controversial
explain?
The benefits it provides are barely significant to the amount of volume you can achieve in the same amount of time. It's more of a power/triathlete style supplement. Plus the extra water weight would just make it harder for him to tell how much weight he's gained.

Hmm. I tried creatine for 2 weeks before I went to China and noticed no weight change (nor strength). I some left so I may try "loading" (and then not actually continuing with a maintainance dose) to see what happens.
Awesome, I will work out in 2 or 3 hours. Ill do weighted pullups with long rests, and handstand pushups, then various high-rep sets for about 1.5-2 hours until I cant lift any more. It will be great. Military press mainly, and Ill see if I can do rows without occurance of the problem I sometimes I get.
Steve, what is your muscle-gain history? What kind of training do you do now? Your diet?
I don't believe that high volume is necessarily the best or only way to achieve hypertrophy. You only need to look at guys like Mike Mentzer or Jean-Pierre Fux (although creatine is completely irrelevant in their cases) to see that low volume, high intensity training obviously works for at least some people.

low volume, high intensity training obviously works for at least some people.
indeed. Does it work for you?
In all cases when I've been going to the gym consistently, I never eat enough to gain much muscle. I usually just turn into a boxer-style physique with infinite conditioning and no fat basically, haha. (And it usually turns into power work outs)
I get some hypertrophy from low rep ranges but if you're gonna do it scientifically for max hypertrophy then you might as well just max out volume (or at least achieve the largest pump possible) and eat as much as possible.

do you have any pictures of yourself, Steve? The last ones I saw you had a pretty high bf% iirc, when you were making different faces etc - when was that?
I have no idea haha. Are you talking about the competition pictures?

i'm a skinny fuck who can't put on fat hahah
if i do train for little bouts of maybe 3-6 sessions, i see quite a large difference in my muscle size.

For sure.
I haven't done weights in a while, but I've been keeping up with some bodyweigth exercises and wrestling. My diet's gone to shit now too. I am fast approaching 190 lbs. I need to lose 15 lbs and start bulking.
