Other than ebay I would check your local trading post. Also look up in the yellow pages for sports/gym supply stores, and check them out. Or find a gym that's closing down and selling all their stuff.

i see your also from australia, do you have a set of 300 pound olympic barbell, if so where'd you buy yours from, and how much if you can remember. Also do like brand name stuff matter for this?

I got a 300lb olympic barbell set from Sports Authority. it led me to believe that there was 300lbs worth of plates to come with it, but in fact there was only 250lbs worth of plates. the bar itself was 50lbs

i felt cheated :(

Hey man i bought a set from ebay (used) and it included a squat rack, the bar and 117.5kg of weights for $340. I know you can get them from Amart All Sports, they can order them in if they don't have any which might save you a bit on shipping costs.
