1. The hip flexors primarily hold the legs in position in an l-sit.
2. Don't worry about your serratus. The hip flexors can be built with any hip-dominant crunch.
3. No. That's some kind of crunch or stretch.
4. Yes. You also need great flexibility and incredible strength in the abs and hips.

27 Hours later and you still havn't found the search function.
4. Yes. That goes for any skill... if your stronger you can hold it longer... duh? although back, shoulders and triceps are major movers in the V-sit.

Also, I think you are probably looking for the sartorius, not serratus.
Actually serratus anterior is also worked in planche push ups.
And actually planche push ups work neither the hip flexors nor the sartorius, haha.

Yes, I know this.
But I just assumed he meant sartorius because the serratus is not a muscle most people try to train, or even know exists.
Well neither is the sartorius haha

Thanks compleks. I've been gone for a while and it seems as if you've carried on my important work. You are truly a useful person, and if I could hack signatures, I would add a 3rd useful person award.
