Is it injured? or just hurt? if you injured it it usually will turn black.

Well, as Rianu said, if it changes color it's a serious injury.

I'm used to busting my legs up on front flips, it can hurt quite a bit but it typically isn't too serious.

How long ago did you do it?

PHEW!!!! the color is the same, i just cant bend it backwards more than lik 90 degrees or too much forward, it always has to be bent at like 20 or 30 degrees, if you guys know what i mean.

Yeah, give it a few days to a week's rest then, you should be alright.

If the pain continues too long, probably time to see a doctor.

Doesn't sound too serious. You probably just twisted it funny so it'll be sore for a few days. but its nothin to worry about. just watch for it to turn dark/black. if its an injury it WILL turn black.

Urggg well get better. Dont be stupid like some trickers I know and wait 2 days for it to 'heal' then go out and trick.

Dude I did sort of the same thing with a Double Leg crash, I drove my knee cap into the ground REALLY hard, and yeah I couldn't squat or anything because my knee hurt to much to bed past a certain point, mine just gradually become less sore until it was at the point where I could bend it fully without to much pain, then it went completely, if your like me it'll take about a week before you can trick again and about 10 days before it's completely gone, can't feel a thing at all.

Ahhh shit dude. No offense, but it's most likely your joints just can't handle the pressure you're putting on them during tricking.

Wait until there is basically no pain, then wait even longer just to be safe. Keep working your legs, simple --- but it should help.

Not necessarily. It depends on the nature of the injury, I tore the cartilage in my right knee and it just swelled a little. There was no change in colour.

Ice your knee, and rest it. Then get it looked at if it's not feeling better tomorrow. If it's severe, then yeah, it will probably come up with some bruising, discolouration and swelling.

its one of those injuries you get when you just start tricking, it'll heal in a couple of days, get some pressure on it maybe, some elastic did the trick for me. Dont sweat about it much, unless it persists for more than a couple of days.
Thats my professional opinion anyway, haha.

Okay, let me rephrase then. If it's muscle, tendon, or ligament damage then it turns black. Especially muscle damage. But if it still hurts then get it looked at. Don't tough it out. it doesn't make you look cool. and you won't feel cool after it takes three times as long to heal. Hopefully it feels better, if not hopefully you'll have a speedy recovery. injuries suck.

Front flips are infamous for lending themselves to rough landings. It's not the best move to be trying at your weight.

the thing is that i had it, i just need an even surface maybe carpet? or something even and a not to hard, c'mon how cool would it be to see a guy my size doing a front flip? w/e as an update, i can almost bend it full way, now when i get to the max i can bend, it seems that there is something there that's preventing me from continuing, also, it is EXTREAMLY weak. i feel as if it can snap at any momment, is this normal or should i be worried?

You may have torn the cartilage. When I tore mine a bit of it was lodged in the joint, which made it impossible to fully extend my knee.

get it looked at.
