New clown on the ranks

Hey guys, I'm new around here, I come from a circus background, and I wanted to give this game a shot. Can anyone help me out, what are some of the basics that I should know before I get started. By the way I've looked at the main site, but some of those look a little hard, any pre-req's?

ignore the stupidity, its par for the course on here.

cartwheels, hand stands, back tuck, front tuck, basic kicking (tornado kick, jump hook) and good to start with, then play with those and watch plenty of tuts and samplers, you can watch loads of tutorials on the same trick and just one will say something that makes it all fall into place!
