that was a bit of a let down

was he not allowed to do more than 2 in a row or something? because ive seen him do 5 or more in about 10secs, he could have pwnd that record.

He had to stay in the circle,so he did just 2 in a row...

i have a vid of him doin 7 in a row...
and yeah, he could piss on that record now

Did he have to wait so long in between each one or pair? I mean, he could have rushed it - maybe at the sacrifice of doing clean tricks - to totally own that record. And multiples - surely 3 would've still kept him in the circle?

Still pretty cool, but overall a bit of a let down...

rook nice hyper man!!!! :}

Aug-07-06, 06:23 AM
holy shit that's a nice hyper rook

but yes, agreeing with rook on this point...anis had plenty of room in the circle for 3 gainer fulltwists

still....nice vid

He didn't do more in a row because he was getting dizzy. You have to think ahead when doing corks for one minute, and limit yourself.

It's like in an eating competition, you don't stuff your face when you are beginning... you have to stay calm and do them relaxed.

Rook

lol, thanks everyone

Yeah, getting dizzy would have to be taken into account...

this is old, although all the people saying he could smash it, ive tried this, and its not the fact of being able to do loads in a row, its physicly hard to do gainer fulls one after another in a short amount of time. doing swingthroughs just takes more concentration and possible bail.

Aug-07-06, 07:12 AM
it just makes you incredibly dizzy, thats it
try doing 10+ backflips in a row, now multiply that with the twist factor. I think thats all there is behind it.

Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen Anis's face. That's pretty crazy. But is Anis the only person that can accomplish something like this? What about people like Steve Terada?

Oh and were those corks or gainer full twists?

u gotta remember their are twists specialist..steves not really a twist specalist..so like anis is probably used to diszzyness but probvably not steve since he doesnt do them alot..not to say he cant. but someone like luu is more likely to be able to do it.

anis is the shit, no dought about it, he isn't even that old yet and he is only going to get better at tricking

They look like gainer full twists to me, to inverted to be corks. That is so insane to be able to do that, all that spinning and control would be insanely hard.

...and that's the point! Anis Cheurfa, Wayne Schmidt, David Armstrong, Sammy Vasquez, Matt Emig, Gary Ip, Josh Kahan, Steven Smith, Kyle McLean, Victor "Pha'rilla" Zorilla, Prodigy Marinas, etc. All these guys aren't even 20 yet, and their pushing the envelope and developing FAST.

Kinda hard for me to keep up! By the time they're my age (if they're no injuries), they'll be far crazier then they are now!

anis isnt even that old??....anis is 18 years old...i think thats pretty young for a trickster who's that good...and he will get better and better and better and better ^^...

haha dont talk like you're old man.... by the time you're in your late 20s is probly when you'll hit your prime. then im pretty sure the world with end haha. tricking is unlike most other sports, in that to progress you can train with care and rely on technical ability rather than raw power. although obviously young guys like anis are gonna be crazy hard to beat....

After you spin enough, you don't get dizzy anymore. I used to spin like 1 time and would kinda be dizzy. Now I can spin in one of those office chairs as long as I want and I can stand up without being dizzy.

Aug-09-06, 07:58 AM
I only have a vid of his attempted quad, though dozens of people vouche for him landing 2 quads standing straight up later that day.

Shit thats good stuff, first quad full I have ever seen on grass. Does anyone kinow if Anis have ever tried Doubleback's from round off's? With the height of the backtuck he does in last years Loopkicks Trick sampler, he should be doing triples :P

Do you have this in better quality?

Towlie2110
Aug-09-06, 04:15 PM
The bhs is far more powerful than a round off.

That video was a tad let down. I was expectting them all in a row.

Maybe doing 8 in a row. then rest for ten seconds. and then do 8 again. Or somthing.

naota
Aug-09-06, 05:29 PM
no, it is directly encoded from the flv off youtube, which when elarged is terrible quality
