ah thanks rianu.

ive never seen it on UK tv before, you can guarantee theyre gonna dumb it down and put in some wildly inaccurate facts about bodybuilders.

Probably something like:
"On top of all this steroid abuse, Greg was also using whey and creatine! It was a recipe for disaster."

I'm pretty sure you can get that off youtube, unless they moved it. That's where I ended up getting it from, and that guy is really idiotic.

I saw that show here in the US on discovery channel or something. It was called "The Man Whose Arms Exploded"

His bicep bursting was due to a dirty needle - not steroids, and not even synthol.

I thought he just flexed too hard...

Is that even possible?(Flexing to hard) And yeah he had a hematoma from injecting himself with a dirty needle, then he tried to surgically remove it himself, which obviously didn't work.

The dirty needle and the synthol was never mentioned in the documentary though.

It was all the steroids!

Well they ilke to bash steroids a lot on the media , Yeah you won't be jacked on roids if you can't normaly get jacked but thoose anti roid laws just make you grow old at 40 :\ whats so bad about test and GH replacement? and a cuple of D-BOL along with that? (well kiddin about the dbol..)

I'll probably start replenishing my body when I get old (45 or something). I'm not having any future plans consisting of walking around hunch-backed with a cane or sitting in a wheelchair due to lack of strength.

I hate to revive an old thread, but I found this "documentary" online if anyone would like to see it.

Part 1 (http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/16982/The_Man_Whose_Arms_Exploded.html)
Part 2 (http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/17027/The_Man_Whose_Arms_Exploded_Pt_2.html)
Part 3 (http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/17128/The_Man_Whose_Arms_Exploded_Pt_3.html)

It's utter crap, but it's there for viewing.

What did you guys think about it, then? Entertaining, I thought. Theres not many programs about lifting etc on TV - just about celebrity diets and stomach-stapling. I realised that I had actually seen some of it before - I remembered Joe Middleton, the kid who idolised Arnie and wanted to be Mr Olympia some day. He looked like he had a long way to go :/

different people like to do different things. i don't personally juice, and i wouldn't do it, but i don't really hate on people for making that choice. it just gets too much negative media. Do you think ronnie coleman and jay cutler are natural? HA!

Haha, steroids are fine. In fact many people would benefit from mild steroid use to help bring their test levels up to high-normal.
