Smple 540 question.

So, basic takeoff for the 540, my left foot is forward and rear foot is behind. to begin I spin the rear leg 180 and plant it so I am now leading with the right. Question, when I plant it do I plant it adjacent (real close) to my other foot, or do I plant my feet shoulder length apart?

I would make a video but sadly i have no means to :'(. cant really see from the angles on the 540 videos I watch.

most good 540s i see, feet r generally close together

I use the same approach you described and my feet are about a foot apart.

hahah, i just started doing it with my feet closer together. you can do them just as well with your feet far apart, but the setup will look really goofy. i'll show you a vid if you want hahah.

actually, im not sure if this is what you're talking about. my initial step into the move used to be really wide, but the part where i actually throw my leg up my legs are closer together. here:
