MAN!
Your b twist is not bad at all...
You just need a little more rotation for the hyper, and to land a little more up and secure for swing thru.
I envy you, the b twist refuses to be landed by me... :(

but i wanted double btwists by the end of htis month.. consistent..
its clear to me that all i need to change is how i set up, i have a strong understanding of my body and i can do anything i put my mind too, i understand the idea of keeping my center of gravity high and i understand how to spin... if i could just figure out this set up asap i want double btwists by end of tonight.
confidence in oneself
human potential
is the same for all.
your feeling,
"i am of no value",
is wrong.
absalutely wrong.
you are deceiving yourself.
we all have the power
of thought--
so what are you lacking?
if you have the will -power,
then you can do anything.
it is usually said that
you are your own master

ever since i started training by this principle i have progressed faster and i know tricks are all mental, if you have 2 legs and 2 arms you can do any trick..

man, you DO have top change your setup.
Dich the leg kick in the end, and DO NOT do clear high steps.
Try to make you movement flowing sliding your legs as close to the ground as possible.
Find a vid of an wu shu guy doing b twists and try to imitate him.
If yopu'll learn to use as much of the momentum that you gather from the setup as possible, your twist will be higher (it IS high now though) and the twist- just wrap your arms around youslef harder, and try to straighten your legs, that way the sin will be faster.
Good luck man!
your forcing the setup, relax and flow

I notice it now. You really have to loosen up your flex. Only thing you need to flex is your kicking leg, because you have to really PUNCH it, not only on the take off, but through the whole move. Just really dig that leg up, around and down. You won't, or at least it'll take time until you do the double without kicking that leg really hard.
Also, in my opinion, the lower the btwist, the better. I've seen very, very high btwists, but they all go so slow, you can clearly see the twist. When it's low, not only do you teach yourself to spin faster, but the spin will be so fast that people not too familiar with tricking will really just "WHOA! Was that a 540 or a 720?"
"No... it was just a 360".. Someone actually asked me this similar thing yesterday..

your not supposed to flex anything, at anytime during the btwist.

or just get a high btwist and learn double, then when people ask, you can actually tell them it was a 720.
just watch some videos of the people you think have the best btwists and copy their setup and style. if you're trying to practice for doubles, watch the setup and everything of someone doing a good double (gary ip comes to mind). just try to copy your favorite tricksters hahah. trying someone else's style can help you find the flaws in your own.

What the fuck man! I just said you shouldn't flex, but you do! God damn..
Also, it was my fucking opinion, ignore it if you don't like it, or argue with it without saying "die"..
And yes Nick, I was talking about a regular B twist because high B twist tend to go slowly, a double b twist doesn't go slowly at all

tend to go slowly? the ONLY slow high btwists i've seen are wushu people. seriously, i think you're just saying this because your btwist is low and crappy, but you want to think it's better.

they're high, but def not head height. your btwist if fine, just work on the setup. fix the setup and the rest will work itself out.

no i said in reply to the guy who was arguing with you about doing the btwist realy low looks cooler and make su look faster as a spinner. well im saying that may be so but i cant do the low btwist with the fast spin... this thread was about my set up feeling week and looking gay and getting help on that
all i was saying of what works for me is the high "slow spin" btwist as aposed to the low "fast spin btwist"

Kick that leg and overspin. Overspin until you can land a hyperswipe and then a double b twist. Don't worry about crashing, it doesn't hurt... At least, it never hurt me too much..

What did I say now!? That I prefer low, and very fast b twists rather than high. Even if high b twists are fast, I'd still prefer the low b twists. And yes, I have a low b twist, but that's because I like doing a low b twist. I do mine around chest level.
You want me to be honest? I have nothing, I repeat, nothing against his B twist, all I said was that he should loosen up a little. You may not feel you are flexing, but I can see it as your feet are the same through the whole b twist. Now, again, if I dare, I'll state my OWN opinion, which YOU can IGNORE if you want to!
When you do a lose b twist, your legs will naturally end up kicking in some kind. I'll upload one of my B twists. Do consider that I've just recently managed to land my b twists, so they are FAR from perfect, but I think that kick in the end is kind of cool..

Youtube ain't working. And I'll end this post with: I don't dislike your b twist, I like it, but in my own opinion, anyone else has one too probably, is that low (not hip or lower low, but chest low) It's impressive to see head level b twists, but at that height, you should have enough time to do a double
<----- NOTICE IT!

They are right. It is definitely you setup. If you learn the flow setup you will definitely have a head high B twist. I just say tidy it up.
For swingthrus etc, try and stand towards the end of the B twists or learn the shuriken twist instead. People say that it is loads better for the combo stuff.
