hey guys I am kinda new at this however I have a lot of experience on a trampoline and I am now trying to take the tricks I know on the tramp. and move them onto the ground.... the backtuck is my main concern and the only problem I have is height, I have no fear because of the years I have on a trampoline but I can get around enough to land flat footed and I always land on my toes and hands....anything I can do to work on height or rotation?

well... Posting a vid would help alot.
But I can generally point out your problem.
You are a trapm-tought, well... that def. means that your flip technique is horribly wrong.
Let me guess- You just jump, arch your back and look backwards?
I'm pretty sure you do.

You'll have to learn the proper tech. and re-learn your back tuck.
I'll give you a briefexplanation on what you HAVE to do:
1. jump UP (not back, UP!!!!!)
2. look forward (do NOT tilt your head backwards).
3. do NOT arch your back.
4.SWING those arms INTO THE SKYY!!!
5.tuck your knees to your chest (NOt your chest to your knees, KNEES TO CHEST!)
6. land.

Good luck.

yeah that's generally how it works, you'll probably get a few flamers just posting random stuff, but usually you'll get a few people to actually help you
