I few days ago, I saw someone do a pop jump front kick... and then retract the kick and do an aerial before he landed...

He ran up and jumped, kicked, aerialed, all before landing... anybody know how to do this?

He was a wushu guy, yes...And I don't have a video of it.

From your description looks like he jumped up and THEN did an axe2aerial in mid air. That sounds like a pretty cool move actually.

Excellent grades, thank you. Top of my writing class, I spend all my free time doing it.

The reason that description sucked was because I didn't know how to describe the move.

Errm, sort of. The dude jumped up, and did a kick with his back leg, then swung it into an aerial. So in essence, yes, you're right. But it wasn't technically and axe, rather, a front kick with an axe-esque swing down.

He was actually talking about my use of "mad sick" to describe the wushu guys.

Isn't this that move called a phoenix or something? I'm sure I heard people joking about it being possible or not a while ago. Either way, LINK TO VIDEO NOW!

That's the thing, I don't have a video. I saw a person do it. This guy was apparently an old friend of someone who works at my tkd school. He came in for a few hours the other day and left before I could ask him about it.

Nobody I talk to knows how to get in touch with him,

i'm going to try it. i will probably end in a faceplant anyway but trying moves i never heard of is always fun for me, especially when they are flip-related

Sorry, to me "mad sick" means a crazy scientist guy with a cold.

I don't ever use the word sick...wtf how does sick refer to something being cool. I guess to the skateboarding community the more gross and disgusting you are the cooler you are.

jeez that sounds impossible from a scientific perspectice, but then again, wushu people break laws of physics all the time ^_^

it sounds very close to a grand-masterswipe.

The move he described defies physics, doesn't it?

Dragonic MiKe
Aug-12-06, 06:51 AM
Yeah, it sounds a lot like a grand masterswipe... except for the part about it being a completely different move.

EclipseInTheRain
Aug-12-06, 09:22 AM
Errm, apoligies, can someone define grand masterswipe?

BBoySafety
Aug-12-06, 09:44 AM
a no-handed masterswipe
usually done out of cartwheel, for example: cartwheel swingthru gmswipe

or cartwheel swingthru side-gainerswitchflash, it's the same, but gmswipe is easier to say

Uhh, were you sarcastic?

nooo

and @ the guy above me:
YES it is like a GMswipe on the opposite side of what most "standard" people would do...yes it is a different move, but you can interpret it as an oddly done GMswipe in a way...very oddly done in a much harder way...yeah
