Injuries?

Just curious here, whats the worst injury anyone here has ever had happen to them, or to somone they know of when attempting a backhand spring, or a back tuck? I've always been curious if anyone came down and landed on their head and broke some vertibrea's or somthing.

I landed straight on my head off a roundoff backflip (slipped on wet grass) and I was just dazed. most people who land on their head are fine, but its not like most people land on their head, if you take the right precautions and get a good spotter you won't.

I have yet to get a serious injury out of tricking.

But just two days ago I slipped on a RO full and Jammed my big toe back an inch into my foot. But surprsingly it's fine now.

my mate in school tried to round off backflip (hes never done anything like this before) and he properly whipped his head back on the backflip and went face first into the ground, all he got was a grazed facand a mouthfull of dirt. Personally iv never had any severe injuries, i did break my thumb once when i was learning b-twists :(

I definately did a gainer off of a cement block, a running one trying to jump and spin off of it forwards... slammed both my feet, more specifically my big toes into the block on the way round from the spin... hurt like hell, I was out for 4 months and the knuckles above my big toes are still both permantly swollen and discolored. The crash into the block also lead to a nice half faceplant into concrete, but the toes thing was the worse.

*Edit: Misread the question. I've never hurt myself on a back tuck or back handspring. Just gainers.
