Beginner Trickster

Hello. This is my first post on these forums. I'm Xuchilbara, most known other places as Nakhti. I wanted to show a few vids I took of myself to kind of help get a feel for what I'm pulling off. If any of you have any suggestions, they're very welcome. But, let's keep the criticism constructive. I've no doubt there are very few, if any, jerks on these forums, but you never know. ;)

I just recently got into Tricking, and am still working on the basics. I plan on continuing with it until I'm at least great. I've been a lifelong martial artist, and I have the physical potential for Tricking, but I will need lots of practice. Anyways, here're the vids!

here's a nice little video of a "flyspring" (a.k.a. front handspring) i did that i edited especially for you bro.

a simple tip for making it look sweet is to arch your back as hard as you physically can, along with your core, and push off with your hands... that way, your upper body is literally propelled back to it's normal position. NEAT.

Xuchilbara - Silent Hill - Pyramid Head (creepiest character in Silent Hill and totally not gay, go figure); name has roots in Spanish.

Thanks for that video, Nspire. It'll probably help. Very nice handspring, by the way.

Do you know any tricks for getting my back to arch more? I don't know if I could do it simply by willing it, though I could try.

hmm... well i think it would help doing some backbends, just to loosen up the core of your body; get it ready for a crazy handspring (i can usually get higher than the one in that video, actually :D)

... you can't be scared to let everything come off the ground... and you've got to push hard; almost punch the ground with your hands. i'm unsure how else to explain it, sorry!

No, don't be. That'll do just fine. :) Actually, I just got done practicing, and I did use just about all my strength. It helped a lot. And, actually, my biggest practice for the handspring was/is the backbend.
