ftp server help

hi people i got some questions regarding ftp servers.

I used to have an ftp server wich i could use thanks to some guy from the internet, now i can't enter it anymore because it had a password.

I was wondering how i can get my own ftp server or something like it.; I used it alot, a frien of mine has a cam so when we video taped something he would put it on his pc drop it in the ftp and i could download it from the ftp to my pc so i could make a sampler from the raw material.

of course it has to be free, with about 1gig of space or something so i can open files from whatever pc i;m in front and so i can make direct links to my samplers.

you need to try putting the files into a zipped foler and adding it to www.yousendit.com or something like that
either that or use mikeX's server, but thats a tad slow these days
