Well if you realy want to do a backflip id first consult someone in the medical profession. The arm doesnt seem like it would be too major as long as nothing bad will happen if you land on it. As for the back i have so clue what could happen. again with the doctor, or whoever you would consult, you would know better then i would.
Basicly be carefull and if you do get the go ahead, dont just let you friend sopt you, id go to a gym and have a professional help you. You dont want to be permenently fucked if you do something wrong

well its not like you could end up any worse then you are rightnow, haha!
if your serious thoe...I dunno, you could probably do it, if you only have one strong leg it'd be relatively difficult, like a standing gainer.

Wow, dude. You sure you want to try it? Metal bar in the spine doesn't sound too good...

you can definitely do it, but it'll be difficult because of lost force/lopsided power due to the only 1 good arm/leg. I would seriously recommend strengthening up your other leg if you can, and definitely doing a bit of ab strength work
i'd recommend you go find a good gymnastics instructor who is willing to work with your limitations and take you through a safe progression of drills and whatnot to lead up to it.
good luck! even if it takes a while, don't give up, and post back here with a video or something when you get it!
just be a bit cautious:wink:
i say... just do it you pussy!

oh...well the metal bar might be a problem. how long is the bar, is it horizontal or vertical, does it allow you to bend over and arch your back. those are some questions that need to be answered if you want to know if you want to try a backflip and its variations.
