It would help you get the feel for things, yes, but be sure to supplement it with going to the Gym and get proper instruction so you can do form on and off the tramp :punched:

theres a thread like this every week. and no dont waste your money if you just wanna do stuff. get a tramp if youre gonna use it for trampoline pleasure, not for stuff you are better off learning with a spotter on the ground.

trampoline will help you try out moves and break some fear but NEVER WILL TELL YOU HOW OR IF YOU CAN DO IT ON GRASS.

Well, i couldnt live without my trampoline now.. Yes moves have a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT feel on ground, dont ever forget that. But people act as if trampolines are utilities spawned by satan himself. Trampolines can be good, i mean, they helped me get over backflip fear.. But you should use trampolines just to get over fear. Other than that, just use tramps for fun, cuz really, they are pretty fun =p.. And nothing ever really happens when you bail, except the other day when i sideflipped and landed with all my weight on my shin on the end bar.. =D.
Id say, if you've got the money get a tramp, they are fun. And as much as people say they dont help, in some cases, they DO.

Trampolines should be slashed down with doublebladed lightsabers... Buy a spotter instead!

i honestly don't know why everyones hating trampolines so much. in fact, i think the majority of people in this thread are copying eachothers opinions while they have never been on a trampoline themselves.
trampolines are good for your stamina, they can help getting you over fear of certain moves, they helped me improve my kicks a lot, helped me get my aerials, and they are plain fun.
whoever screws up their ground moves due to a trampoline is an idiot.

Trampolines helped me immensely for years. I recently took down my backyard tramp because I don't use it anymore, but it was great for a looooong time. The important issue is learning to do it CORRECTLY on the trampoline. Any idiot can throw themselves over backwards, at a slant, with their back arched, and with no tuck, and call it backflipping. But if you learn the movements correctly on the trampoline it'll be a whole lot easier on the ground.

well, i said that trampolines are evil cos on friday, in a short moment of complete retardedness and stupidity, i somehow managed to crash onto the aluminium edge of a tramp with my leg from a height, resulting in my hardly being able to climb stairs for the last few days :dead:
