Not bad. To improve and simutaneously get closer to being able to jacknife, 2 main things you might consider. First, snap your kick out more, as in chamber before kicking. Looks like you're bringing it up fairly straight legged for the most part, which slows it down a lot too and makes going into the second kick that much harder. Also, you kick crescent style. Now, you can do jacknifes using a crescent style kick for both, but it's much harder. Try doing your kick more like a roundhouse so your body can be torqued over better to twist around for the second kick (when you get to that point).
Before you even consider jacknife though (I agree, one of my favorite kick moves too), can you do a 540 hook/crescent aka c720? It's kind of necessary since a jacknife is really a combination of that and a regular 540.

I can't 540 hook/ c720 but I'm working on it. And I'm kinda confused with the roundhouse insteand oh the crescent, to be honest. If you had a clip, it would be very apreciated.
As for the chambering part, I'm working on it, but i still find it strange, but I'll get over it.
THanks alot for the comment though :)

ok, the best way to make it easier for combos is to take out that little pause step before you do the move, try and go STRAIGHT into the move, without using the hop step. I go into it mine from a modified walking stance- have a look at my 540 help vid if you want (i might make a newer version at some point).
540s are fairly easy to combo. The easiest move to do after them is a sweep, 540s are usually good to throw at the end of a combo (i.e hook, 540hook, 540)
just keep drilling them until you can do them without any effort whatsoever.
i'd drill 540hooks until you can do them comfortably before trying jacknifes.

Ok, I,ll clear that hop steph alright. Then, it's 540 hook carnage.
Thanks guys I really apreciate it, I got lots of stuff to practice now. Yay for me:juji:

trixter i love you.
oh yeah and to remove the step-in just work on torque-ing, keep hands up, look high, all those basics that you already know. your 540s are sexy, you dont really need to work on em anymore.
btw loved when you kicked that ball at the girls ass, she looks like she's having sex with that pommel horse.

Well by what you said, do the following:
1) Get used to chambering the kick so it's second nature, this applies to most all kicks, though some kinds like a simple 360 crescent look pretty good straight legged too. Not so much with 540s or cheat 720s though.
2) Learn that c720/540hook. Don't go after jacknife without it. It's like going after a 540 when you can't tornado kick.
3) Difference between roundhouse and crescent? It's just how your body is positioned during the kick and more specifically, what part of your foot you're kicking your target with. In a ROUNDHOUSE, your foot is facing sideways, toes pointing in the direction of your kick. Your foot is pointed and your kicking your target on the top part of your foot. With a CRESCENT kick, you're foot is up and down, toes pointed up and you're hitting your target with the inside edge of your foot. Your feet get into those positions better by how your body is turned. Your body will be fairly upright with a CRESCENT kick, and turned more to the side with a ROUNDHOUSE kick.
That should help ya.

oK i GET TEH roundhouse VS crescent now. I had TKD basic lesson by my gf's oncle, who is a black belt and whatnot. But I had the name in french, now I see wich is wich, thanks a lot :good:
And the progression will be very useful. I still don't know if I'll aim for the b-twist after the 540 hook or the Jacknife. but still, it's great great help.
I'll keep you up so you can see your advice are really useful to me. :)
P.S: All of you who posted too ^_^
