Converting tornado to 540

Here's my tornado (is it good)... how do i convert this to a 540?

I guess what we gotta do it spin everything (arms, hips, core) around and up really hard until it is fast and high enough that we can comfortable land on the kicking leg... i guess we'll have to keep practicing :dead: :tongue:

Here is what you need to do:
A)Throw your arms up more than you are already
B)Jump as hard as you can
C)Stall a LITTLE bit
D)Pull your arms in and the kick should come out naturally. You should feel like you are giving the kick time to fly over. (crescent type) It shouldn't feel like a hard, snappy kick, it should feel like your leg is floating over you, carrying your body upwards.

In other words- Instead of Bum..ba-dum SNAP! land. It should be like Bum..ba-dum floaaaaaaattyyy land.

The first few 540s you land will hurt your feet, trust me. Just work on getting more height and landing on the balls of your feet and you'll be fine.

u cant relli convert ur tornado kick into a 540. it becomes a 540

use all the tips u get here and add them into ur tornado kick, if u throw enough tornado kicks ur body gets used to the motion and u can get it wicked fast. u need that speed to make it a 540
