I saw a video of a feilong and thought it looked pretty cool, and have been practicing it, then I saw a Raiz..thought it looked cool, and practiced it too, but they're beginning to look and feel the same to me, is it just me, or can someone explain the difference.

a raiz - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_RD2fxyBns (the last thing he does)

a feilong - http://youtube.com/watch?v=BNhuDe2ZWxY

Is there a distinguishable difference, or maybe I'm blind >.>

You're blind mang.

A feilong is two kicks, with your body upright.

A raiz is one kick, with the other leg trailing, body horizontal or inverted.

Raiz is basically tornado kick with your body at least horizontal or, most ideally, inverted. And well, the guy from the first clip didn't put an accent on the raizness of the raiz, it should be a floaty move. What he did seems to me more like a hybrid of raiz and sideswipe.
