i know jujimufu wrote on the backflip tut. that when he 1st learnt backflips they were mad whippy, and its the same for me.

will this cure/level out with time/practice? thanks

yes, taping urself helps a lot too so u can look at yourself doin the move and u can find little stuff u need to fix

Well, if you practice whip backflips, than you're just gonna get uber nice whip backflips. You have to conciously change your technique, or else you're not going to get anywhere. Trust me, I know from b-kick/twist experience.

EDIT: Whoops, I forgot. Jump straight fucking UP! You know why thsi is labored on so much? Because its IMPORTANT. If you jump up and tuck hard as hell, you'll get a proper (non-whipped) backflip within a few tries (hopefully...) Its really in the fear, once the fear is gone, you should be able to experiment, so try different things, but make sure you're trying them RIGHT. Good luck, and good job getting the backflip in the first place. :good:

i know to jump up since i learnt backflip in gymnastics

so im guessing the whip is coming from being so physically tired that day

yeah probably should be fresh/awake to do PROPER backflips im guessing....

Your backflips aren't as whippy as ur saying. While it is apparant that you're jumping back, you don't whip your head back. Just jump straight up and you'll have a great backflip.
