could this move be a 1990?
its not a 1990 just the base, like a prereq.

No offense or anything but...you're not doing a 1990. Even if your guide is supposed to be a "prerequisite", you should be able to at least get 2 rotations before you can say you can do 90s. You actually need your hand to spin, not just rotate around the hand.
First of all, when you do a 90, it really has nothing to do with cartwheels at all. You're correct in that the proper way(or at least the most orthodox) is to go 1 hand-2 hands-1 hand, but you didn't emphasize the most important part: torquing your hips. You have to get your whole body in a circular fashion, and then whip your hips very hard to be able to spin. You didn't mention about the proper spinning point either, which is on the bone across from the pinky. Not to sound mean or anything, but you really shouldn't be teaching 90s at your level in them. Practice a little more, get some real spin going and then come back with a guide.
BTW, I'm a bboy so I may be doing 90s different from tricksters, but if we're talking about a spinning 1-handed handstand then your guide needs work.

Hey man, the guide is pretty alright. Catchy music too.
Im a bboy as well and I've been trying to get it as good as my tricks. I think opening the legs up and then closing them helps to spin much better. Also the weird thing is, you actually spin on almost your wrist, like the lowest part of your palm. There's much less friction that way and helps you to spin even better. Going into it is similar to a handed coindrop, going into mills from standing. Its basically swinging into a handstand, but one arm at a time. The most similar trick to this start up is the handstand kick. In a handstand kick your right leg goes up when your left arm goes down and your left leg goes up when your right arm goes down. It's a similar way of going into it. Prolly easier for most to think about than going into a cartwheel. Anyways, good work still.
Peace
Fuck off.
Shit music, Shit tut.
Make another when your GOOD at the move.
