Hi, I don't know much on the subject of exercise equipment but I have an uncle that's in his mid-50's and he was wondering about what he could get to fill his basement with.

He's a soccer fan. I think he's been having a bit of trouble with his knees lately. Any advice on what machine(s) would be good for him?:eh:

hehe, and something that I can take advantage of too?

And as for weight training, are free weights the only way to go?
He's pretty much asking me to find something for him since he's too busy to be messing around shopping for equipment.:dead:

Anyone have an idea of where I could look to get an idea?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Laters.

get a 300lbs olympic bar set - and some individual squat stands - much cheaper than a cage or rack.

Nah, I'd just fork out for a cheap powercage.

valid, I guess - I don't know how much either piece of equipment costs tbh.
