So i had no idea there were this many trickers in MI. Besides Dan P my mistress. I told him the other day, I tore (well i say "tore" but i think im just being a baby and a half) Its just a bad pull..but, i "bad pulled" a muscle in my back last friday, so when that heals I'm meeting up with Dan P to kick some air and see what other muscles we can pull. I really want to go to a gym session with them, its just my schedule is always so hectic that it has made it impossible to make time for a major session lately. Come next semester I will have more time and I might be able to make it to a gym session on Friday or Saturday before that if I have enough warning ahead of time to make sure I can squeeze it in.

Oy. Steve. This is Matt Swartz under a temporary screename. You may or may not remember me. I talked to you a few years ago when I was still living in the Detroit area about meeting up but I never took initiative to actually do that. As far as those posting in this thread, most of us are in the Detroit area, closer to you in Jackson/Ann Arbor/wherever you are right now haha. I've since moved to Grand Rapids and have been tricking with short gorilla (Matt) and Wasted Savior (Pete) for months now, though I'm currently taking a break from it all.

We're not nearly close enough to trick with you regularly. I made one 3+ hour trip to trick with Pitlock, Kevin and all those guys but that's it as far as anything recent. Quite an expensive endeavor that was for one session but it was worthwhile at least once. I'd be interested in meeting up eventually of course. Dan came into this thread the same way you did: suprised at the growing number of MI tricksters and eager to put together a little gathering. It hasn't actually happened yet but I'm sure it will eventually.

Aaannnyway, there's also a fairly large group in the southern part of Detroit that don't really post here much at all, including Ray who was my main tricking partner while I spent 3 years in Detroit. Tough luck getting in contact with all of them though if you wanted to since a lot of them aren't even members here. I guess your best bet is Pitlock and all them.

Oh and Ben Brown has posted here on and off for a while. I talked to him briefly about meeting up when he was around with you (since I know you guys know each other), but nothing really came of that either.

Everything on my myspace is MIDI sequenced. I've been doing MIDI sequencing for about 2 years using a program called TabIt and a lot of free time. I've written ~200 projects that way, having completed probably 30-40. I've also done a significant amount of instrumental recording in my home studio. Been playing guitar for 8ish years, piano for probably about 12. The myspace is just for MIDI though. :beard:

I didn't tape anything actually. Well no I did briefly when I tried some gainers (voila there was plenty of room this time!). I kinda got closer but then I reverted back to my old bad habits so I stopped haha. All in all I accomplished nothing and just screwed around a lot, spotted Haily and Pete for backtucks, that was pretty much it. Fun though! It was nice to do it all again even if I didn't do much. I tried a front handspring over a barrel last night when I was coaching and it didn't hurt, so I'm going to start doing those and cartwheels, really easy, just kind of in a rehabilitative fashion. I'm working on my dynamic kicks and stretching too. But jumping and spinning is still pretty much out of the question. The handsprings and cartwheels are alright as long as I use good form and go slowly, so my foot doesn't go sideways or anything. I'm more rolling them than diving or leaping.

So Haily tried back tucks? On her first day? Haha, I hope Pete feels like a bitch now. Is he trying any on his own yet?
