The 2006 gathering has come and passed and I think all the people that attended it agree that we had a great fun filled time of homosexual sexual innuendo, awesome tricking, low riding in our lowriders (cause we gangsta) and the likes.

The people that participated being:

And many other locals participated more or less.

We're gonna be in 2007 soon and I need to think ahead about the next Montreal gathering.

Things that have stayed the same:
- The gathering lasts 2 weeks
- You will all stay in my house since my parents are leaving for Europe in summer.
- We will still go to LaRonde cause it rocks :D
- We will mainly move around by car, which is awesome, cause alot of people will bring cars, and I'll have one too.
- It rock men! lololo
- Age 16+ with some exceptions (yes I discriminate against age, that means you kid! don't bother with hatemail)]
- This is still and INTERNATIONAL gathering.


Things that have changed since the last gathering:

- I need to know you before you ask to come. ( I don't take COMPLETE strangers into my house.)
- The new date is sometime at the beginning of July! It's not on the 15th of August anymore, due to people not being able to come because of school, and my parents leaving in July. The exact date hasn't been decided (it'll be around the 1st or 2nd of July)
- BUY HEALTH TRAVEL INSURANCE! It's like 50$ for 2 weeks... Don't fuck around and take risks, canadian doctors charge small fortunes to write up tylenol prescriptions.
- Lalegende KICK!!1!!
- There is a certain limit to the number of people coming ( I havent decided it yet, but it should be around 20-30). So you better tell me you're coming ASAP so you dont have bad surprises later on :/

Ok guys I got all the details in.

Date: 26th of June to 10th of July

Lodging: We will stay at a trickster's appartment in downtown montreal, near every bar, club, park and gym. I offered we'd at least pay the guy's rent for one month, so it's gonna be 30$ for each of us for the whole 14 days.

Start getting your plane tickets and clearing that period out of your schedule. That is all ^_^

I don't play the marvel one, but I'm pretty hell good to 3rd strike! I can specific Genei Jin almost anyone and I can do unblockable with Urien. I mean midscreen dash partitionning unblockable! We gonna have fun! GG it's hard for me to win because my main character is low tier (Chipp). So it's pretty hard to win with him. i recently tried to play with Slayer. Just thought id throw in my 2 cents here about the passport:

There's a period of the year (february till july) that is extremely busy for the passport office. That means that if you wait till then to get one, it can take up to 3 months for it to be issued due to the extremely high demand.

That said, you should still do it as soon as possible. Not only that, but if you can do it online, you should. This saves you about 3-5 hours of waiting in line at the office...

As for this gathering, since i've spoken with Cicero only a few times on msn and that sundays are a tough day for me to make it to the trainings, i think i'd still like to hang with you dudes sometime. Wednesday trainings are good days for me, so i should be able to make it to one of them at some point.

Update

First of all I must admit I'm kinda dissapointed that so many people canceled at the last second. The KW tricksters are in deep shit cause they aint got a ride and now Meegz isn't coming, Andy has personal problems and Fly & Spyder cant come because of passport problems... I understand everybody completely here, and I do get the fact that you all have your own reasons, so I'm not pointing fingers. However, if there's going to be a MTL 08, it will only be due to popular demand. In other words I'm not hosting this gathering anymore if no one will show up. Thing is, the way things are going now I could cancel the gathering, but I prefer to keep it open because I still wanna meet all the Quebec tricksters! Cause chances are they will be the only ones that will be able to come.

So I hope you guys still stick to the plan, even if only 5 or 6 people come, it'll still be a cool mini-gathering. The date stays the same and it's still 2 weeks, come and go when you want, however I suggest you organize yourselves to drop by at the same time.

The apartment is great, in a great location, near every awesome thing in town and I think we'll have a hell of a lot of fun.
