Holy moly! When you said that and I watched the video, I thought you were just falling for the illusion. Because the stuff he does in the beggining where his legs are in a V, his hips are turned in so it may look impressive but it's not near as flexible as it may seem. I can do that stuff, I may be pretty flexible, but it's nothing amazing. But then he does the one arm side planche and has one leg totally in the other direction! Once it got to that part I was thinking hmmmm I'm not quite sure how he pulls that off, but there must be a trick to it! but then right at the very end, OH MAN!!!! That's insane!!! I mean, I don't think there's any trick to it! I think he's just legitimately that flexible, it's crazy!!

I keep reviewing that last part! It's definitely impressive, but I think I've noticed something. It's not quite as deep of a split as it may seem. Don't get me wrong, it takes an incredible amount of flexibility AND balance but here's what I noticed. It starts off as a needle scale which is split flexibility. As he starts leaning left, his balancing leg is curving to the other direction, this takes away some of the difficulty of the stretch but may be a bit more difficult balance. He probably hits a legitimate 210 degree split but once there he turns the stretch into a durvasa! Unless you know what you are looking for, you could totally miss that and still think it looks like an incredibly far split. However, his stretching leg is doing a stretch much different from that required by the splits. It's still challenging of course! But, not nearly as much as if he maintained a proper split. So, I mean, I still find it amazing, but I'm glad I realized it's not really a 330 degree split, that was just too crazy haha.

The guy is amazing, but how much he's splitting is misleading. Many contortionists can put their legs behind their head. He's basically doing that, but he twists his torso to the side so it looks like he's splitting his legs. Awesome optical illusion. In addition to leg/arms strength, he has great active oblique contortion.

Wasn't he on that whole American Talent Show thing? I think I remember him. I wonder where you go to learn hand balance anyway.

Those potato salad girls are the best contortionists I have ever witnessed... those backbends to sublevels are insane.
