I'm interested to know what you guys consume. Can you give me an example of what your daily diet is like including supplements?

Well I've only recently gotten into this healthy-eating business, so my meals can vary greatly from day to day; however I usually eat oats, eggs, loads of fruit, some veggies, plus either fish or meat..
I supplement with whey, vitamin B12, vitamn C + zinc, magnesium and omega 3
Food.
On a more serious note: eggs, oats, fruits, fish (salmon ftw), veggies, BERRIES!!!!
I supplement with whey protein, casein protein, multivitamin and occasionally maltodextrine post-workout...
And WATER!!!

Juji didn't spend his time writing an article (to help the members of the forum) that contains a lot of healthy foods to eat. Nope, not at all.

Moose Lee- you're diet looks appealing discluding the pineapple meatball sub thingie.
I'd like to try it, since I'm switching up diets every week. Uhm only thing though is- I would like to avoid gaining any weight this winter so I'm wondering if eating snacks would be a bad idea for me. Fruits and veggies I suppose are okay though.

Gaining weight is freakin awesome.
My diet is fucking appalling to be honest.

I know the meatball sub sounds weird, but damn I love em. Seriously, all I get on it is meatballs, onions + pineapple. No cheese. And its on wheat bread, so its even better yet!

Only the one time at TO to show the rest of you how a true man handles food. Rest of you were like, "EUGH! WAAAA" hahaha
That soup wasn't good, nor would I eat it again, but it sure as hell didn't make me cringe like the rest of ya.

Dont need much. I've got an incredibly slow metabolism.
On the days of and leading to competition its a completely different plan altogether.
Cereal (Cheerios), oatmeal, meat (usually chicken), eggs, fish (samon, tuna, cod, haddock), yogurt, cheese, fruits (banana, apple, orange usually). I only suppliment with whey right now.
I like to snack on shit foods like Goldfish, but I recently stopped because I got sick of it getting stuck in my teeth. For anyone who has trouble with their diet, the simplest way to stop eating junk food and sticking with it is to become obsessive with oral hygiene. You'll stray away from sodas and junk food.

Another good way is to think about all the downsides. Besides the nutritional aspect, there's the aftertaste which is normally associated with shitty foods, the shits themselves are normally not quite so pleasant, as well as plenty else. It's really all about the little things that I don't like about junk food. Sure they taste good for like 10 seconds, and it's all downhill after that.
Will we ever know the truth about this soup?
Swartz
Dec-16-06, 10:06 PM
No, because none of us that consumed it knew what it was either. It was a pale green color mostly. Very bitter taste. It was at some Vietnamese or a similar Asian restaurant in downtown TO.
Everybody else whined about it after just a tiny sip and I took a whole spoonful down like a true hero, because I am.

8am - i eat a banana upon waking
10am - 6 eggs and 75 grams of bacon, with a cup of Orange Juice
12pm - usually wheat pasta with leftover chicken/steak, several slices of cheese, and whole milk
2pm - 6in. turkey bacon and cheese subway sandwich on wheat with sweet tea. OR 100g of baked chicken and 200g of mac n' cheese. (i like the soul food restaurant at my college)
4-5pm - some kind of dinner, usually chicken, steak, lamb, or pork... with brown rice, wheat pasta, or macaroni and cheese. Whole milk.
7pm - probably a bagel with whole milk.
9pm - some kind of meat with some kind of carbohydrates, and whole milk.
before bed if i still need to meet my 3200 calories for the day i'll eat a poptart or something... (with a glass of whole milk)
done! ^_^
and oh yeah on the days i workout, which is about 5 days a week, there will be either a brownie with whole milk, or a Surge smoothie in there somewhere... typically 3pm or 8pm
some of you guys eat very well, but i wonder if its enough! I can't ever get enough calories with all those veggies ...

oh man, TETSUJINX3 you eat like a fucking homoshit
rock_ten eats mainly eggs (1-2 dozen per day), ox heart (very cheap red meat), milk, and veg. Whatever other meat/fish I can find too, ideally not faggoty chicken, but I like it still. Some reluctant consumption of oats, post-workout only. 3-5000 cals/day, 3-400g protein, carbs maybe 50-150g depending on my activity levels. I need to eat a bit more carbs (post-workout only) when I get back home and start training.

Yeah, because Juji's opinion/lifestyle/eating habits is the only one that counts, isn't it? That's twice you've made a suck-up comment in the space of five minutes.

Yeah, because Juji's opinion/lifestyle/eating habits is the only one that counts, isn't it?
Wrong. Doing what Juji does isn't the best idea - take ideas from him, sure.. but everyone should find what works for them, and what they like.
well you pretty much contradicted yourself cos if juji's eating habits dont count, why does that make you think anyone elses does?
I didn't contradict myself because that's not what I said in the slightest.

thankyou, Kitosho - its nice to see that my efforts are appreciated here. I just hate to see misinformation like that.
Don't take it personally Lobo - and maybe you still think that Juji's way is the only appropriate way (thats fine if you do)... but people should be aware that many would disagree with that.

are there any reason why you eat more carbs towards the end of your day?
fish meat nuts veggies fruits whole grains dairies everything?
Today I have eaten a donut, piece of cake, sandwich (turkey, roastbeef, ham, swiss), skittles...and i think thats all.
I am a fatty.
Actually I rarely eat like that and didnt realize i ate the much crap until now haha.
Today I started with Oatmeal and had 4 lean burgers and a protein shake (Post work out) so far. Probably finish with some chicken and another protein shake or something. I wish I had more rabbit. That shit's good.
