z0mg i can kipup now
Jamie your flexibility makes me feel inferior.. Now I can never perform a kipup.
:sad::agony::sad::agony:
Nice tutorial, did you rehearse your speech before actually filming it? Can't put my finger on it but there was some small detail that made it miss the 'perfect tut' spot.
:sad::agony::sad::agony:
I saw a video by Jamie and he goes into a handstand but with his leg so far back it's like a bridge shape. what's it called?
awesome you learned it in seconds after watching it zephyranthes.
I'm gonna try

Ah! I liked the tutorial very much! You should've incorporated an armless kip up just to keep it all together. But other than that, it's still great! :pwing:

Hmmm, I'm not sure how else I could help you... but you could practice on a mat so your feet don't hurt.

Haha. Well, I had an idea of what I was going to say, it wasn't totally on the spot, but it wasn't totally rehearsed either. Ugh, missed detail? Ya my front flip tutorial was TOO basic, my gainer one I think was pretty good but could have gone a bit more in depth. I think this is my best tutorial so far even though it's for such a basic trick. I keep missing my opportunities but I have some other tutorials planned, I'm not sure when I'll get around to them.

"Blast". With both legs out it's called a "Reverse Planche". I only had one leg out so it was a Single Legged Reverse Planche. I am very close to doing a full proper Reverse Planche! I can occasionally hold it a couple seconds. I hope to get it clean in a month or 2.

I have a No Handed Kip Up tutorial planned. I wanted to make a seperate tutorial for it instead of doing them both in the same video. I actually filmed it and I think it is very well done but I didn't realize how horribly done the lighting was when I made it so I want to redo it with better lighting when I get the chance.
hey you should do a tut' for the Reverse Planche too :p if you like. is a good way of learning it doing a handstand against a wall and moving your hands away?

You know something, www.beastskills.com does tutorials for strength stuff but he hasn't done one for Reverse Planche or One Handed Sit. Those are 2 strength poses that I am nearly efficient at. If I can become efficient at them before anyone else makes a tutorial for them, then maybe I will make a tutorial for them.
But ya going against a wall is how I first started training it. Once I could hold a single legged reverse planche without a wall I would just do that and slowly bring the other leg out and if I fell I would lightly jump back up into the position.

It's not much that you missed it. More that it sounded slightly rushed and that you took things as they came :wink:
Maybe try writing it down next time and then emphasize on articulating and keeping it fairly slow. As if you were going to present some essay in class or something.
Hope those pointers help you in your making of tuts :smile:
