View Full Version : Secret to whiter semen!

I just figured out how to get whiter teeth without buying any extracurricular products. Brush your teeth longer! :punched:
I've always brushed my teeth just once a day, good dental health too. But since maybe... October, I started tripling the brushing time, using extra paste, torturing the entire mouth musculature for that one brushing! I'm talking like 8 or 10 minutes straight with multiple rinses and extra paste application.
I've noticed my teeth are much whiter than they have ever been! :bandit: This is pretty cool. :wise:

I actually never used to brush my teeth, and yet never got a cavity. Just a few days ago, I decided I'd better start before I do. I will now brush every day, but go for length rather than brushing all the time. So far, in only three days I have acquired really nice, white teeth.
My teeth are impermeable.

If you brush too hard, you can damage your teeth's enamel or cause gingivitis. Increasing the frequency of your brushing, rather than the intensity, may be a better option.

what about the fluoride?
I went for a few months this year using no toothpaste at all, just brush, with water. It works fine, really. The brushing action is more important than fagpaste. Now I use this awesome red shit with some oldcore design on the box.
the thing is, like most people i brush my teeth twice a day, once in the morning, and once before i go to bed. But i don't know about anyone else tho in the morning i don't relaly have 10 mins to brush my teeth, cos i've got to get to college, n i'm too tired, and then before bed it's fucking freezing, and i just want to get into bed, so i can't be bothered to brush for 10 mins, lol.

brushing your teeth for that long is soooooooooooooooooo bad for them. same with using a hard tooth brush. people should use as soft as tooth brush as they can, brush atleast 3 times a day, and should take no longer than a minute doing so. or so my dentist told me.

The real dilemma is morning brushing, I mean do you do this as soon as you wake up or after breakfast? My preference is to do it after breakfast as brushing my teeth makes any food taste awful. Also you are just getting them dirty again.

Yes brushing teeth before any morning eating is stupid for the reasons you mentioned. Even though it's not a great habit on my part, I try to brush one in the morning after eating then again right before I go to bed, along a flossing. Only a third time if I ate or drank something that really just nastied up my teeth. Sometimes I'll get something stuck in my teeth in which case an occasional floss is needed. I do a piss poor job at this at times though, so it's not unheard for me to brush my teeth just once a day.
I can't floss, as in I'm literally unable to do it.

I don't think you can really destain your teeth just by brushing longer. I get it from drinking soda and coffee (because I'm a tool), and the dentist said it's unavoidable (though harmless, save for looks), I could bleach it, but it'd come back if I kept being an asshole.
What!? Brushing your teeth removes plaque from them!?

Plaque gets more easily stained, so getting rid of stained plaque would make your smile whiter, sure.
But once the enamel itself is stained, short of scratching it off, the stain won't go anywhere.
Hm... I wonder if plaque actually has a stain-protective effect. Sort of like... it gets stained, but since it's coating the enamel, it doesn't get stained (or as much).
In that case, make sure to get your teeth nice and plaquey before consuming something rather stained. Then brush your teeth once you're done to get rid of it.
Apparently having plaque isn't totally horrible, as long as it doesn't stay on there long enough to harden into calcite or whatever it's called, because then it's a bitch to get off, I can only barely do it with my fingernail and that's a crappy way to go about it. Then, only the dentist can get it off.
I bet we could forgo the silliniess simply be avoiding eating sugar and grain-products, they tend to cause more plaque than eating meat and vegetables.
Enamel is yellow or "pearly," and teeth only appear fully white when chemicals from toothpastes are applied or plaque has burned off the enamel and then removed.

Over brushing will cause irreversable damage to the enamel, encourage gum recession, invoke hypersensitivity and generally leave you more open to damage. true story.

Hey my bottom gums are receding and the dental hygienist told me I might be brushing too hard, but my dentist said I probably wasn't brushing hard or frequently enough, and that if I started brushing them correctly they would probably bleed at first. Who is correct? Also, I tried brushing them more and they didn't bleed at all.

I'll say To The Gallows with them! (Kalmah reference there.)
On a more serious note though, your dental hygienist would be right in that case.
Generally the idea is not to brush hard as you scrape your gums off that way. Ask any serious dentist that passed his extremely hygienic mouth-exploring degree and they'll tell you to use a soft brush and brush it without to much intensity. Don't be afraid if your gums start to bleed abit, that's just weakness leaving your mouth.
And also, if you want to have your teeth stay put for awhile longer, keep half the brush on your teeth and the other half on the gums (probably obvious for everyone that owns a toothbrush.) Change your toothbrush at least every 6 months. AT LEAST!

Logic would suggest then that you are infact brushing them to hard.
I would recomend buying a softer toothbrush, invest in some decent toothpaste (non of this whitening crap - the majority are damaging)... and an antibacterial mouthwash such as listerene. Remember to floss to :)
There are stronger mouth rinses available however I would not reccomend these without perscription from a dentist/hygenist.
Just to be sure however - ask your dentist for a thorough scale and polish of the affected area.... or even pay more for a private clean from the hygeinist who will be able to probe a lot deeper (sub-gingival clean).
From my experience though... if there is excessive brushing there is usualy evidence on the surface of the enamel of the teeth. If there is a plaque problem or gingivitus then there is ususaly swelling/bleeding of the affected area.
Unless of course you smoke... in which case things take another turn ^_^
EDIT: Also as for the manual/electric poll.... manual ftw! it will teach you better brushing technique!
Manual because I don't need any other kind.
Ugh, must I floss? Also when I smoke I always hold the cigarette behind my teeth and exhale through my nose to avoid tar stains.

Doesn't matter what kind of 'techqnique' you use to smoke, it still fucks the same old stuff up. Lungs, teeth, skin, (goes grey and disgusting.) and whatever else that I just don't feel like listing here.
Stop smoking! Don't use the gum, it's horrible. Use patches!
Exhaling through your nose may sound like a smart idea but then again you screw even more with your internal system if you only do that, some of the smoke will escape through your mouth cavity anyway.
As for floss, I personally don't use that either. It feels very uncomfortable and weird when I floss.

I had that too but it was because my teeth were crowded and blah blah blah, I had to have gum cut off the roof of my mouth and sewn onto my lower gum. Im a dental nurse/assistant. true story.
Over brushing will cause irreversable damage to the enamel, encourage gum recession, invoke hypersensitivity and generally leave you more open to damage. true story. That's BS, the enamel regenerates as soon as there's an alkaline environment from the saliva so it can remineralize. Fluoride helps do this even better. What will do all that stuff you said is having the bacteria living on your teeth have an orgy and multiply from feasting on all the food you left on your teeth from not brushing hard enough so they ferment your cheerios and leave acid behind to eat the enamel.
just be careful you dont brush the enamel off, kidsYou'd need one damn abrasive toothbrush. Like... a toothbrush of iron spikes, to do that.
Manual for the control. Electric toothbrushes always makes me think about dildos. They look like the ancestral dildo.Yeah one time a girl told me about doing that and I've been thinking about it ever since.

One week without brushing? Holy hell your breath hates you, and your family/friends/girlfriend(s) hates you to. Even though you feel nothing, everyone around you do. There's no excuse for NOT brushing your teeth, just laziness.
Tooth paste has a sand like substance that fucks your teeth and removes plaque.
The amount is so small that it isn't unhealthy.
But if you brush your teeth as much and as long as juji does your teeth will be so thin that french kissing alone wil make them break.
I think,.....
PS: Do you guys brush your tongue to french kiss better?
Brushing your tongue makes your breath smell much better, that is the sole reason why you have bad breath to begin with. All the bacteria that congregate on your tongue.

Typos aside I'll say that teeth are not supposed to be white if they are in perfect health.
As stated before in this thread, healthy teeth should have a slight yellow tone. It's when they turn brown/grey you should worry.

I can see some people doing this until their gums start bleeding.

I don't know about the extracurricular products, Juji. I may have to buy a sweatband for this. It'll be an endurance brush. ENDURANCE!! YEARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
My gums are somewhat sensitive from being post-orthodontics. I start brushing, and my gums are already bleeding.
That might not be a good sign, but I do brush regularly. .______.

This thread is old. Since summer I've brushed my teeth on average two times a week. My teeth are fine. I suppose if I ate shit I'd probably have dental problems though.

Juji
I have super white teeth simply because I brush my teeth well twice a day. Plus I floss and use mouthwash. If I were to go a week without brushing my teeth would turn yellow. It would seem yellow teeth runs in the family :P
Really, what I am saying is you will achieve better results from flossing and brushing twice a day then by just brushing until your arm falls off.

I brush my teeth vigorously once a day every morning, I floss, and mouthwash. Will that one extra brush during the day really help get them whiter you think?
man i'm not into flossing, makes me feel hella uncomfortable

Well think man, even if you do brush them vigorously, you're still eating food all day and letting it decay your teeth for X amount of hours. Brush before you go to bed too brah haha.

I once only brushed my teeth like 10-15 times in a two year period and my dentist told me my teeth were perfectly healthy, which was awesome until he gave me cerebral palsy.

Generally I do light brushing in the morning and heavy brushing with flossing at night (since the end of the day is when you've dirtied your mouth the most.

What's uncomfortable about it?
It's because he's European
yeah. and i dont like the idea of forcing a tiny little bit of wire inbetween my teeth, i had braces for a long time so i hate fucking around with the gaps in my teeth, i feel them moving if i do it too much.

There was a two year period where I never brushed my teeth at all and I had no dental problems.

Im gonna be honest here, if you ate shit you would probably open yourself up to a whole lot more than just dental problems.
Although in some cases and some feaces it could actually sustain you...
