StepDown
The term "stepdown" isn't really a necessary term, and is used only if the combo is super-specific. A "stepdown" occurs anytime you link a trick that lands on one foot with another trick that begins by jumping off of two feet. Along with this sequence comes a little "punch" off of the floor, to help conserve the flow of energy.
Combos with a stepdown...
Pop Hyper 360 - Doubleleg - Flash -_- Pop Hyper 360 - std Doubleleg - Flash
Btwist - hook - 540 - Pop 1080 --_-- Btwist - hook - 540 - std Pop 1080
Corkswipe - Doubleleg Twist -------_ Corkswipe - std Doubleleg Twist
Slide-In
Slide-In is when you transfer from one part of the floor to another by sliding along the ground. This can happen in a variety of ways, and has several applications; however, it is primarily used to transition into another trick.
StepOver
I talk about this here... (http://www.trickstutorials.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18326)
