feels great! I just started doing it, I've only had about 2 mins total time in a bridge, but it has improved greatly. I couln't get my arms anywhere near straight (with my feet flat on the floor), but now I can. It feels great for my back and legs, and everything, really.

Jamesters, if you read this forum, tell us about your bridge training and progression?

bridging owns, being flexibile that way is valid.

Bridging is fun, I like it, kind of hurts your wrists if you don't get straight arms and push back far enough though.

What's really hard is doing the bridging on one leg while the other one goes straight up like in yoga. Ironically enough, that's harder than doing 1-armed bridging for me, but probably only because I don't put much weight on the arms.

My training? With back bend flexibility I do bridges starting off doing sets without my knees bent, then I progress to bending knees so I can go in for a deeper stretch. I also lie on my stomach, grab my feet then bring them towards my head, that's one of my favorite stretches to do. I have some other variations but those listed are my favorite. I don't know how my progression has been though, but probably the worst of all stretching I've done. Like with splits, straddles, and front bends I continue to make noticeable improvements but my back bends haven't gotten very much better since age 16.
