"Tricking Bible" hehe... i couldn't came up with a better name, haaw? ^^ lol (cuz Tricking101 is only just the first article)
I also thought it would be nice if there is something like an introduction / opening words by another person.
Now I think sessh is getting a little bit more of the credit he deserves for that great work !
love,
Tong-Len

I swear that if I didnt see the name "Sesshoumaru" in this topic title after the words "The Tricking Bible..." hahaha.
Well I thought it would be something new but it's all what we've seen before. But who cares! This is great stuff. Very descriptive. Very good stuff.
I never thought of a raiz as a cheated gainer, what the heck! I always noticed the gainerflash-like landing of the raiz, but I never realized that that's what it's like. INTERESTING!

The latest post (T102:K101) alone, took 57 hrs. without rest and food. So you can imagine how long the rest of the information would take.

This booklet is extremely appreciated Tong-Len.
A professional format suitable for a highly professional, intelligent and insightful piece of literature, on a subject that normally isn't taken as seriously as it should be, and without the passion with which Sesshoumaru discusses his philosophies and the concepts behind movements.
Shall enjoy getting engulfed by this.
There is only one word for this... Pro
thanks to sessh, team loopkicks and tong-len.

Question for Sessh:
Why?
i mean, its cool that you contribute to the tricking community and stuff, but isn't really tricking something self defined? like..
Making this kind of "bible" is like making a set of unofficial rules or kinda like a box to put tricking in, and for the years i've been doing it, i've come to think of tricking as something you just dont put up like a moves\guideline book for how and which tricks to do, it just seems alittle "wrong" in my eyes, not to discredit you or anything, and, really respect the work you put into it, im just asking this cous im curious, thats all..
and im probably gonna get flammed by all the "fans of Sessh" for asking this but.. w\e.. i dont care..
would apprechiate an answer if you can give one Sessh =)

Dude...this thread is a few months old and the discussion about this tricking bible and the sesshoumaru sigs has already been discussed in a huge "I dunno how many pages long" thread. So search for that and find other peoples and sessh's opinions there.

I agree on the stickying!
it really shows that tricking has structure, and isnt just a bunch of kids with a death wish jumping around.

I wrote the T10X series because I wanted to create a "standard" that most trickers can agree with [most, not all].
It details tricks routes to tricks, so that the trickers [especially noobs], can take strategic steps to acquiring skills [instead of just diving in head first], and on the way they can learn some valuable variations.
Along with that, it offers tips on proper execution of kicks [probably more than any other single online source], because I want everyone to know "what is what", and how to do each variation [cause I understand how much basic kicks effects the execution of most tricks]. I DON'T WANT TO SAY, "TRICKING IS ALL ABOUT KICKING - BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, THEN TURN AROUND AND NEVER GIVE Y'ALL ANY MATERIAL TO IMPROVE Y'ALLS KICKS [that would be hypocritical, which I am, but I try not to be].
Then I talk about style, cause most people go about learning tricks based off of what they see other people do [and that's fine]...which is great; however, it can be a handicap when trying to stand out as an individual. It [T103] also supports what I said in T101 [about being good after the completion of Class B tricks], cause that's where the "gold" is, the other stuff beyond that is just "glitter" [and glitter ain't gold]. Not to say that it's not nice looking, but it's less applicable to MA [and so are alot the tricks], but the ones in Class C and up, are just extentions to the ones in Class B and down. For those who have trouble getting into Class C and D, they can be hella impressive if they just take the time to work with what they got. Not to sound all "big headed", but I could trick with 5 tricks [all below Class C, and probably beat 80% of all trickers].
There are alot of reasons why I posted T10X a.k.a. the "tricking bible" as some call it. This is just one reason. Once read you can tell that there is a little bit of a "life lesson' in there as well. A way for tricking to be synonymous with everyday life...

will be up again in a few days i guess...
billy has posted the articels one by one on bilang.com also
in the pdf on my site the articles are just put together and I wrote a few words about sessh (+ a lil shameless promo for the dvd^^) on the first page that the one who reads it will have a clue how worth the article will be from the startup...
I'd love to read all the bible and all but I don't want to install Acrobat reader. I had it before and it's a waste of space it never gets used. So i'll pass.

Very nice document, learning a lot from it.
Although (class A) I learned a backflip before my BHS's were any good.

if you are talking about 1990s being in class B, i agree with you, i don't think many tricksters can pull off a nice spin
yeah i am yet to see a tricker hit 2 rounds lol.
That and just the general under rating of bboy moves.
Pretty wack but meh if you like it then you like it.
Most bboys got no idea about flips. Think that the best flip out there is an aerial.
