Are you addicted to something and if so, would you want to get rid of that addiction? Discuss different methods and whatnot.
I guess branle will qualify itself as an addiction in this thread. Destiny will make it so, I just know it.

I reckon I'll start of with having been addicted to smoking and Snus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snus) but thankfully quit both of those. Smoking was abandoned when I broke my hip/ribs/vertebrae and tore some muscles off. I was high on morphine for a couple of days and when it was over I did not have a physical addiction anymore. So I picked up Snus! Which I quit just before going to Australia (those buggers don't sell it down there.) Ever since then I replaced it with sugarfree gum.. Stimorol and Extra etc. I go through roughly 4 packs a day, without having a laxative effect!

And no, this is not an AA meeting so do post even if you don't want to get off stuff. Share your tips on how you got off your addictions.

Regarding myself: I tried the gum, the pill and the patches. Of those three only the patches work. combine them with normal gum whenever you feel like you need a ciggie between your lips.

I was a smoker until I stopped 7 years ago.
My tip to you is: stop at once and don't try the gum or other shit. Just stop and leave it be. That worked for me.

You build mental strength like physical strength. Consistent practice and getting rid of things that stand in the way of your goal.

NEDM is an acronym of Not Even Doom Music, to understand, there is a backstory.

A video was posted upon the internet in which two guys take a cat and force it into a hamster cage. They then proceeded to douse the cat with a flammable fluid, and then set the cat alight. This caused an uproar on the forum it was posted upon and was deleted, and authorities were noted. The guys who made the video went to jail.

Later, someone who had a copy of the video posted it on the fad site YTMND, with the music from the very first level of action game DOOM playing in the background. This was mostly met with horror and condemnation, although a few individuals voted 5 stars on the YTMND, in favour of the site. After seeing this, an incensed YTMND member voted 1 (the lowest score) on the sites of everyone who voted 5. On the comments, they said that Not Even Doom Music justifies burning cats. This became a fad very quickly, where people created YTMNDs with pictures of cats and references to cats and fire. Each NEDM YTMND typically has a picture of Happy Cat (A happy grey cat) and

nasal spray. my nose is always plugged and not with snot. the nostrils just tighten up. they only loosen up when i excersise, get adreneline, or use nasal spray. its not alergies because i am not alergic to anything and even if im in a non-dusty area, it is still plugged.

Both nostrils or just one? Normally you only really breathe through one nostril at any given time. At least that's how it works for me. One works better than the other and they keep shifting all the time.

I take it you've been to a doctor about it? And all they said was "Can't do nothin', you're doomed to use nasal spray. Bwahaha!"

lol they told me to use flonase(some allergy thing lol) and he said that it should work. but it didnt so i still have to find an easier way than cold turkey. because very few people got off of it from cold turkey.

Either you go back to your doctor and tell them it didn't work, or you go cold turkey. It's either way really. Unless someone on TT has had similar symptoms and gotten off it somehow.

Your choice but you have to make a decision and stick with it!

did you get tested on allergic reactions?
I cant believe they would just give you some medication. The normal method should be hyposensibilisation which takes 1-3 years, but in most cases totally cures the allergy.
Another reason could be an asymmetric nasal septum.
