NJ Gathering [interest thread]

Would anyone be interested in a New Jersey gathering?
-We have a gym that ill call if there is interest (to see if we could rent it out for 1, maybe 2 days?),
-a hotel (no one can have people over from my knowledge), which is $100(110.88 w/ tax, haha) a night(and obviously more than one person per room, so the price can be split about 4 or more ways per room. Maybe like 6 if you can sneak people in, haha.),
-and many fields to trick on.
If we are lucky we could get a tkd dojo for a few hours too.
This would be in the summer, and we already have about 10 tricksters in the area we will host it in, if it happens. Anyone interested?
-EDIT: Oh and if your looking by mapquest to see how far it is, try from kenilworth, NJ, since thats where the hotel i have in mind is.

A Nj gathering would be sweet. I went to the NY gathering yesterday but the drive was so long. I teach at a TKD school and my friend is the head instructor. Not sure about letting strangers in, thats all up to the big boss man. I usually trick with about 5-7 people that might be interested.

Well by summer you should have learned somthing, especially if your serious about it. Thats crazy that you live in Kenilworth. I used to live so close to it, but i moved. All of my team lives there. You should meet up with them one day, and you should check out the tkd school on 753 kenilworth blvd. Its called karate world. They are there all the time. Setup something.

The motels are farther though. They can research motels if they want, but those have like cum all over the beds. Ive been to alot of them because of when i was moving. They definately can't hold 6 people unless they wanna be mad uncomfortable and sleeping on top of eachother. Thats why i said they might as well sleep in a car if they are cheap (i'd do it if i wasnt sleeping at dave or nicks house.) Splitting 110.88 between 6 people is nothing anyway. Less than $20 a night. They spent less at hotshots hotel, haha. :tongue:

If you could get that gym that'd be fuckin great. Try to get it for the whole day if you could. If you could get it on sunday that would also be cool, so we could go to jonas on saturday. Unless you could get it both days for a long time, that'd be best. Dont say birthday party though haha. Tell them exactly what it is and see what he offers for renting it out the whole day (or half or w/e you can get). I think the most everyone should pay is $20 to get in per day though.

EDIT: Ok chris there are 30 people invited. Lets say 20 come just to be safe. Explain the gathering n shit to him, and offer him $300 dollars for each day. Thats only $15 per person. He should say yes. Or say $400 if he says no. thats $20 per person.

Benji I'm in the same boat as you... When you look at it from their persepective though, it almost makes sense about the decision they make. They're not letting you go to a place pretty far away to stay in a hotel with people they don't know (and who you have met over the internet) and do god knows what (for all they know) for an entire weekend. If you know someone that's been to a gathering before, just have them sit down with your parents and have them tell your parents all about it. That's going to be my plan, but I need someone that's been to one that lives close...
