If you upload something to yousendit.com, it could annoy some people that they are first linked through to the yousendit.com site where they then have to click away the pop-ups and then click on the download button.
It is somewhat more convenient that if you post a yousendit.com link, you'll just copy the hyperlink from the yousendit download button. When people click on the link then, they get the download immediately instead of them first having to go to the site...
