man my btwist is so shit, it was raining all day today so i decided to try it indoors

its so poo but what am i doing wrong? i was actually making an effort to dip but it looks like a dont dip at all. also i seem to rotate to much laterally which is weird. Any tips would be appreciated.

uhmz...

-try to trick in places with some more space
-DIP! you say you tried, but try harder cause now you just rotate vertical :ogre:
-throw up your first leg high
-try doing it with a btwist swing setup instead of doing it from standing (you'd have to go outside for that ofcourse :tongue:)
-you ever watched/read juji's btwist tutorial? you should! :smile:

you spin pretty fast so that won't be a problem I guess.

If You can find some place where you can do momentum steps, because it will be hard to get horizontal standing and land it

yeh i know i had to do it from standing as i was indoors and there was no space, i couldnt go outside as its pissin down. also on a side note my trampoline has blown into the garage and smashed to bits which sucks

EDIT: do you think i am rotating too much laterally?

Your rotating way to much laterally. The spinning part of the btwist should be no problem. Focus on jumping off that first leg and throwing up your last leg as hard as you can, dont even worry about spin. Then once you get in the air, just pull in your arms as hard as you can to your chest, and you should literally hit your chest. That alone should whip you around, and since you focused on height, youll be plenty high to land it. Also, DIP! You dont dip, and your practically doing a bad cheat 900 attempt or something. Make sure you really dip. I wouldnt worry to much about the spin, as long as you intend on spinning, and really whip your hands around and into your chest, it will come naturally.

Holy crap dude.

Get some space.

Then learn to butterfly kick. Properly.

Then read tutorials. Then follow the setup of these tutorials. Do the butterfly kick from this setup, as you should have learned it that way in the first place. THEN try twisting the butterfly kick once you feel ready.
Because let's face it, we pretty much have nothing to work with, it's terrible I say! Sorry.

Follow those steps, after that, remember to FOCUS and concentrate so your body follows these steps:
Jog/run/walk/whatever > Sweep/kick/lunge/turn-around-and-stick-leg-out > Dip > Open Up > Lift Up Chest > Lift Up Back Leg > Jump > Jump > Twist > Keeping Twisting > LAND!
