eggs, if you're eating again shortly afterwards. 600 calories of them is about right, 50g protein. Thats 6-8 eggs depending on size.
Otherwise, meat and veg left over from the previous night's feast.

Your question was pretty much answered in the first few posts.
Oatmeal, fruit, eggs etc.
Just make sure you load up on carbs and that you fill up pretty good. Breakfast is without a doubt the most important meal.

yea i know, that goes without sayin.
but my question was a bit more specific.
as in, one glass milk+2 eggs+1 banana
thats the kind of answer i was hopin for, cause i wnna figure out what amounts of what to have for breakfast, cause i usually have like 2 bowls cereal, and then i think ive had too much food, and then later on i wrry that i havent eaten enough.

There is no one perfect breakfast that suits every person. Even I as a veritable rookie on the matter knows this.
What is more important is WHAT you eat, make sure you eat the right stuff and then you have to figure out for yourself how much you should consume depending on your needs.

I couldn't disagree with this more. A carby breakfast is body-comp suicide. Save the carbs for after training, breakfast = the same as every other meal should be; meat/eggs/fish,etc and veg.
http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=824347 is relevant to this. I'll post more later

It depends on your goals (whether you're trying to gain/cut/maintain/etc.) Just make sure they're complex carbs not simple carbs - none of that sugary cereal. Eggs are good, oats, tons of stuff really.

Not really.. either way, that shit is going to have you sweating insulin for the rest of the day. Some people can tolerate shitloads of carbs and stay lean, most can't. Eating carbs at breakfast won't have any benefit apart from enjoying eating them - you can eat the same total amount of carbs, but do it after training.
That said, if you're going to eat carbs outside of the post-workout period, breakfast time has its advantages.

The second sentence mentions carbs as having already been introduced (he says "they"), implying that it was carbs that were involved in the first sentence.

Perfect breakfast: oatmeal, banana, eggs, orange juice.
With room for modification.

yea, I'd ditch the oats, banana, and OJ. Then multiply whatever gay-low number of eggs you were thinking of by 5.

The perfect breakfast is meat. I like the old fashioned meat pie.
Although I resort to carbs when I can't.

I think eggs pwns meat tbh. Eggs first thing, then meat an hour later

Meat contains more purines, which my body loves.

a can of salmon, 2 eggs in a cup, one packet of oatmeal and a glass of milk would be my ideal breakfast considering what's available to me right now.

My post was kind of hard to understand actually. After reading it, it doesn't quite sound exactly the way it was supposed to...whoops. I didn't mean type of carbs depending on bulk/cut/etc. I just meant if you're eating carbs to make sure they're complex although it sounds like it. My bad, thanks for pointing it out :)

I know you weren't saying the type of carbs depends on bulking/cutting; you were saying how much carbs you should eat. Anfeyd then suggested you were talking about how much food in total should be eaten. So I quoted you and gave my reason for thinking you were talking about carbs.
